Welcome to ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) warnerbrothers! Where the celebrities run as wild as The Looney Toons.
Here are some things every person should think about before they apply here.
Characters Characters at warnerbrothers can range from musicians, artists, writers, directors, publicists, agents, paparazzi, journalists, actors, and actresses. However, unless your kid sister or cousin is famous somehow, they will not be allowed into the community. Each character here must have a name around Hollywood that everyone knows about. Keep in mind this is an AU community so your PB choice can be Katie Holmes under the name of Mary Jo Becker who stars as Satine in Moulin Rouge!
In addition, please keep in mind that not every character is going to be in rehab, popping out ten children, getting married and divorced with forty-eight hours, and having abortions all over the place. Pregnancies must last for nine whole months. Along those lines if Susie is pregnant with Billy's baby, talk to Billy first instead of just having it happen. Agreements are AWESOME. These types of storylines DO have to be accepted by the mods before the person’s character puts the said storyline into play. Anything baby really. Events such as suicide and death also need to be approved by the mods. Don't go offing your character for kicks, really think about it because nine times out of ten it's going to affect SOMEONE in the community. Basically if you think it's questionable please ask us first.
In order to make your character's credits, if he or she is an actress or actor, please refer to the openframe journal and anything that is not taken. Keep in mind from time to time we do not have the time to update openframe the same day that additions and removals are done so a part might be taken or a part might open up within a day or so.
Singing Voices & Lyrical Claims If your character is a singer, they should claim a singing voice and/or lyrical claim. For example, if you have a female character say you want her voice to be Christina Aguilera. The majority of the time if someone has say Christina as their singing voice, they also have her lyrical claim. They can also have one more lyrical claim on top of this such as P!nk. And some people may have three lyrical claims. For instance say you have Rob Thomas as a singing voice/lyrical claim along with Matchbox 20. Since he was in another band called Tabitha's Secret, since he was the lead singer you may also have this claim, giving you his solo career and his two bands. You may not have more than additional lyrical claim unless your case is like the Rob Thomas one stated above.
AIM & Journals AIM is something completely optional for this community. Keep in mind, usernames and AIM names must go with your character's actual name. Crazy I know, but just humor us. There is a a threading community, ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) formalism. However, if a person wants a scene to be directed just to one person, filter the post so only the specific person desired may view the post.
In order to be accepted into the community, you MUST have a first entry. Also, please make sure to friend this journal so we will be able to see your first entry.
Ah the update limit, this is one of the most important pieces of information about a community, no? Every member has FOUR WEEKS to provide an update. Extensions can and will be made for people if they just let us know. After the four weeks are up, update warnings are posted on Friday and all removals of those characters will take place on Monday.
If you put your character on hiatus and the journal hits SIX WEEKS and you still haven't updated, you will be put on the update limit list and will be removed that Monday along with everyone else who has not updated.
Videos & Pictures
We ask that if you're going to post pictures or embed videos into your character's journals or even in photoflood that you make sure to put them behind a cut tag. We've said this about a thousand times before but now we're going to make it a rule and one of us will be commenting you, weather it be with one of our IC journals or the mod journal itself if you choose not to put your pictures or videos behind a cut because we understand that sometimes you type in the cut wrong or you honestly just forget to put it.
OOC/IC We enforce the whole three strikes the member is spoken to rule. If we have to speak to you twice, shame on you, if we have to speak you a third time you're OUT. Plan and simple, don't make us enforce it. Also please come to us if you're having a problem. We can't fix it if we don't know.
Reapplying If you plan to reapply after being kicked out of the community, whether it be because you didn't update or you have asked to be removed, you MUST have a recent entry or we will not consider you further and will not be added until we see such a thing.
I do believe we've made ourselves clear, but if there are any questions, please comment with them were the taken, wanted, and held lists are located in this journal.
